No one at 155 is beating Islam.
Volk actually has a better chance against Islam than Beniel would, IMO.

Grant Dawsom is now 7-0-1 in the the UFC. Great performance last night. Dominated Madsen who himself was 4-0 in the UFC and coming off a win over Pichel.
Dawson just did what he does last night as he won via RNC and in his career 19 wins he has won via RNC 11 times including on DWCS where he won but that was not counted in his UFC record. If you count that he is 8-0-1 in the UFC with 5 finishes via RNC now in the promotion.
I’d assume we see him in a pretty big fight by March or April.

Even though Makhachev just won the UFC title and Dariush got the big win in the end of Oct, November is for sure the busiest month of 2022 for the division.
Friday night, Vartanyan beat Raisov to advance to the ACA GP finals. Last night Dawson moved to 7-0-1 in the UFC after he dominated and submitted Madsen.
Next weekend, Poirier vs Chandler, Riddell vs Carneiro, Azaitar vs Frevola and Puelles vs Hooker happen at UFC 281 and Parnasse defends the KSW title vs Rajewski.
Two weekends from now is Patricky vs Usman for the Bellator title and ONE LW champ Lee fights Abbasov for the WW title.
Three weekends from now are the PFL finals between Ray and Aubin-Mercier and 2x PFL champ Schulte vs Stephens is on the card as well.

Even if so, no one in a weight class below is going to beat him. The absolute last thing you want to give up against a dominant grappler is size and strength. Plus Volk doesn’t have one punch KO power which would be the only possible equalizer.
Dariush would have a better chance because he has KO power and good scrambling ability.

Beneil hasn’t even beat a guy in the Top 10. I really can’t understand why people think he has a chance vs Islam.
