are you looking to use them to work on wrist strength by doing holds or to work on strength and core by hitting tires?

TTT for the Hammer
Find someone with a pickup truck, go to a tractor trailer tire supplier and offer to remove a tire or two. Bring them home and pound on them with your hammer. start with maybe an 8 lb sledge and work up to 12 or heavier. Alternate using 8-12lb sledge, to get variety of challenges.
Hit the tire diagonally from right side, then from left. Hit it straight on, alternate. make it up as you go along.
