To me, that suggests that it's not pics--it's the ads. If it was the pics, wouldn't it always redirect when I went to that page of the thread? By contrast, the ads change randomly, so sometimes a particular thread/page gives you an issue while it gives none to others, or won't redirect you twice.

I have no idea which ads are causing a problem but porn viewers are generally at higher risk. That said it could be displayed to pretty much anyone.
Hopefully this .pl site won't be a red herring for the site admins because I'm pretty sure it's to do with the ads.
We seem to be having more than one issue. One is some of us are getting that Microsoft Security Essentials misdirect and others get a totally different message when on a page that has that pic on it.
Joe Lauzon - Would be interesting to see what browsers/plugins people are using too... things are sometimes mistaken as malware that are really just ads.
Firefox with Adblock & Noscript. No virus here. I quit using chrome on this site.
Notably, I haven't had it happen this afternoon. It happened earlier today, but since around the time this thread was created, I haven't had it happen and I've been clicking around a good bit. It did happen to me earlier today while I was looking over one of the other "virus on the site" threads.

The issue was created and removed using the pic from the .pl address, that doesnt mean something else may not have caused similar behavior earlier or also, but can you really still think its not pics?
Well it is still uncertain what is leading to some of us getting that Security Essentials redirect. It appears that if someone does post the image from that website then you guys are getting something as well. I dont believe that I am getting the redirect because that address is in a picture somewhere in the thread but I dont know for sure.

There are some coldfusion SQLi that upload malware to be served from the compromised servers db. The injected malware specifically targets certain versions of IE.

Right. Again, I'm not terribly tech savvy, but there are plenty of pics I don't get to see. Whatever virus software my firm has running on my machine blocks a great many of the pics posted altogether. (I see a lot of blank posts or little red "X" signs.) But I've definitely gotten redirected from threads that have no pics, I've definitely come back to the same page on those same threads and not gotten redirected, and it only happens on this site. Take it for what you will.
Man vs Net - @rushin you posted a picture from the bad domain thats why the image error came up. The entire domain is blacklisted so anything from that domain like an Ad or an Image will trigger some sort of alert. The re-direct is coming from an Ad. The ads are randomized so you won't always get it. Not sure what is still not known...
How do we not get an ad that takes us to that site if only clicking on threads and posts in this site? Do Kirik and company have to BLOCK that site??

Seems to be the IE users.
I use firefox with no add ons and have never seen 1 virus detection on the UG ever. And I've actually tried to get it to come up by opening the 'infected' threads that people list.. clean as a whistle on my end.
Firefox / Norton = no can defend.
i'm usually on chrome, and sometimes firefox, and never had the issue
