No matter how well Wagnney does at the ADCC Championships, he will be representing Brazil.

It's like Carlos Newton being announced as being from the Virgin Islands. Until someone born in Canada win (i.e. Bocek, Joslin, etc.) some other country will always be poised to steal the maple leaf's thunder...
Wagnney for the most part Wagnney will be training with guys from his club in Canada. If you ask him who helped him prepare he will be sure to mention his Canadian training partners/students and Dede. So maybe he will not represent Canada. But his club in Canada will have representation via his involvement in the ADCC.
