For the record: wearing just gi pants and a hoodie or t-shirt are fine.
It’s the gi top & TIED BELT in public that is the red flag.

The main issue is funking up the car. I couldn’t stand to wear my jacket in the car. I just put my t-shirt back on at the end.
I like running in my Muay Thai shorts.
They’re comfortable to run in.

I frequently wear my gi and rank in public. But I wear a wide, thicker gold coloured belt with red accents to let people in Ralph’s know I’m not doing some bullsh-t martial art.

On two separate occasions I’ve seen 2 different men dressed out in their gi & belt tied on in public. One was at a Tire Barn & the other was in Kroger. I was giggling like a small child.

Years ago, at a Mexican fast food restaurant I saw a guy in his karate uniform practicing some type of TMA kick block.
The other day I was at the local mini mart picking up a burrito and coke after jiu jitsu practice. I was a my GB gi and brown belt. At the corner of my eyes I saw a jealous a-hole staring at me. Walked away with Gracie pride.
