Me too, also not sure if it was just the matchup but Mir had all kinds of trouble finishing Simms with more than one sub that looked like it was as good as done.
Sims isn't as refined technically as Mario but he is tough as shit and hard to submit especially with arm triangle. I've seen that with my own eyes.
