I was looking at a thread in the S&C UnderGround, titled "what happened to this forum?"

Pretty depressing. It discussed how the forum was no longer what it used to be, how users had moved on.

Some mods on the thread literally signed off for good.

Even more depressing: That thread was from 2017.

This site has been through a lot of changes over the years. Don't let my join date fool you, I've been visiting here since the mma.tv days.

But this time, the decline is palpable. I know the site's numbers must be dropping all the time. A sinking ship.

Feels like its time has come. After 20+ years, it's going the way of nhbgear.com (who remembers that forum?)

So what keeps you coming back here?

I've left for years at a time, but always sneak back every now and again. It's the only MMA forum I know.

If I could find a decent alternative to this shithole, I'd unistall the app in an instant. I know it seems impossible, but Sherdog has more douchebags and children than even this place.
