which pullup/dip belt to buy?

new gym I joined doesn't have one. They say members keep on stealing it, so they don't provide one anymore.

Need to buy my own. Any recommendations?

EliteFTS has a leather one ($40) and that synthetic material one ($25)

Perform Better has the dumbbell grip one, but it's way more expensive (I think like $70). Never used that kind of belt before.

Honestly, unless you are going crazy fucking weight, it doesn't matter. When I was doing weighted dips, I used a simple $5 2 inch wide nylon strap with friction buckle system, and loaded up to 70 pounds on it no problem. Even higher than that, the buckle didn't have enough grip, but if I tied off the belt, the thing was good for up to 100 pounds.

I used to use a old dog leash with no problem.

Costs about 10 bucks to make and is more comfortable than any dip belt ive used.

I bought a nylon dip belt last week from bodybuilding.com for $13 plus shipping.

it's just to tie weight to yourself. Shouldn't really be hard to choose... just get the cheapest possible. a rop would work

I hung a 24 kg and a 16 kg kettlebell just to my own body...

For real...

I mean TO MY FEET. While wearing wrestling boots and doing pullups, on one feet there was the 16 kg and on other the 24 kg:)

I use an off cut of old blue nylon rope about 4 feet long. I haven't noticed any drastic consequences of not spending 40 quid on a high tech one to do the same job.
