Greg's the real deal.
You guys keep mentioning the guys miletich trained as champions but dont forget to put him on the list as well. He won the title a few or 5 or 6 times.
Mudderfaeg - Xtreme Couture has Randy, Vitor, Forrest and idk
Vitor don't count as he didn't train at extreme couture then
Don't forget that Miletich trained Robbie Lawler. He was a SF champ
WestsideStrangler - You guys keep mentioning the guys miletich trained as champions but dont forget to put him on the list as well. He won the title a few or 5 or 6 times.
BigWilliam - Jackson and Miletich both have three right?
Jackson - Bones Jones, GSP, Rashad
Miletich - Hughes, Pulver, Timmay
Blackhouse has 3 as well. Nog, Anderson, Aldo
Would Rich Franklin also "partailly" count for Miletich? I thought he spent some time earlier on training with them? Or was he just buddies with Hughes?
edit: just re-read and saw this had already been mentioned
Was BJ still with Nova Uniao when he won the title?
BrockbackMountain - Erik Paulson has trained: Sean Sherk, Brock Lesnar, Ken Shammrock and Josh Barnett.
Erik Paulson doesn't get as much recognition as he does. He is legit!
Mudderfaeg - Xtreme Couture has Randy, Vitor, Forrest and idk
Rampage at some point?
MonsterBalls -LOLkanodogg2 -kanodogg2 -Mean Aldo trains out if nova unaioHardlyworththeweight - WAIT... Wouldn't Black House have 4? Anderson, Aldo, Nog, & MachidaAlso trains out of nova unaio doesn't he
Double fail?
Greg Nelson has trained 3 UFC Champions from their first mma fight ever all the way to their UFC Titles. Dave Menne had his first fight under Greg Nelson then fought all of his fights up to the title bout under him. Sean Sherk did the same, all of his fights to date are under the training of Greg Nelson. Lastly, Brock Lesnar started his mma training with Greg Nelson and then won his UFC belt training under him for his mma skills. I think Greg Nelson may be the only trainer to have 3 UFC champions that started their training and all of their fights up to their UFC title fights.
Rafiel Cordiero aat one point on their careers. THe best trainer on earth
Who has developed the most UFC champions? Both Miletich and Nelson have taken raw talent from the ground up all the way to the belt. One from Iowa (Miletich) and from Minnesota (Nelson). Combined from these SEVEN (7) UFC Champions
Miletich, including himself has 4, Nelson has 3. Way to go Midwest, and out of those the Extreme Challenge was the stepping stone show that developed the talent: Hughes, Sherk, Menne, Miletich....
Hawkeye02 - Team Quest...Randy, Evan Tanner(rip)Chael Sonnen. 3!
Hendo

Did lindland never have the title?
TIL Pat Miletich trained himself.
toolverine -shermbe - ricardo liborio (w/ BTT & ATT) - nog, bustamante, vitor, lombard, mike brown, bigfoot silva
Your list get s a lot smaller if you actually name UFC champs.
Nog, Bustamante and Vitor were all UFC Champions. Brown was WEC as the UFC didn't have his weightclass at the time still Zuffa
Clegg - Miletich with 4 takes it I think - Miletich, Hughes, Pulver, and Timmy. BTW GSP is a Tristar guy not Jackson <img src="/images/phone/post_tag.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>
GSP is Tristar, was BTT Canada, Jacksons, Freddy Roach etc He goes where his game gets better but Greg Jackson is always in his corner and Jackson's guys always come to his camp I'd call him a Jackson fighter
Croation - Himself, Hughes, Silvia, Pulver, Franklin, and Menne.
More tangentially, Lesnar trained at MFS very briefly as before he was champ, and former 2-division champ Penn trained with him very recently.

Franklin trained at mfs?
