Why I like Chuck/Tito TUF

It gives two legends of the sport more exposure. They get a fight. They don't tie up any contenders fighting each other. They don't tie up any champions or contenders for the UFC. We get to see up and coming fighters on the show and some good old school rivalry. I think people complain to much. Having them as coaches is much better than pulling a champion and contender out of action.

That's a good point.

It's not like i'm dying to have another two top fighters out for months (and then have some shit happen so they don't even fight)

good point

also seeing tito getting knocked out again would be great.

I don't like it. Only because I'm worried Tito might avenge those losses :/

The Kimbo/Houston results primed everyone...

It seems like you just agree with everything the UFC does.

Mixed feelings.

The decision to have them coach is fantastic. They will both be great coaches, and the show will have it's rivalry moments. They're both very personable. It will be a great TV season.

The decision to have them fight after the show is a poor one.

This is a last ditch effort to try to resurect the careers of both of these guys. Who else can they beat up but each other?

Exactly. Why not do something like season 2, where the coaches didn't fight afterward?

"rather see chuck /crocop

tito/coleman"

not coaching, but just fighting

What happened to "Chuck has been ko'd too many times, I worried about his health" blah blah from Dana? Plus do these guys REALLY need to fight a third time? The first two fights were one sided stoppages. Even if Tito wins, what does do for him at this point? We just saw that he cant beat Forest, we know he cant beat Machida or any of the top guys, and he has already lost to Liddel twice. I mean the whole idea is a WTF situation all around.

I don't mind the idea, better than a lot of other matchups, and on a side note, congrats on the UFC Australia Card Elvis, Chris Haseman better train hard, looking forward to the fight.

I have a few fights I would rather see Chuck/Tito against other opponents but this is a $ ratings grab and imo a mistake.

Anyone here cares who wins this fight? Is there drama, dialog something to draw viewers in?? I'm one of Chucks fans but Zuffa has some work to do.

really dont want to see that fight

but at least a title wont be on hold

pretty sure i heard Dana say they would fight at the season finale though

It should have been Tito vs Rashad...Rashad and Tito can both talk mad shit, it would have been good TV, and it would be a rematch I wouldn't mind seeing.
