Why I like Chuck/Tito TUF

edit

Here is my perspective on TUF. It is designed to introduce new fighters to the UFC. I think the UFC have a couple of guys they think will be a success. TUF is to introduce them to the fans. The other guys are fodder and hopefully/possibly some of them will turn into fighting talent. The coaches are just faces of the UFC.

I think the hardcore fans make too much out of TUF. TUF is not for the hardcore fans but for the casual and new fans. It designed to get them to watch the PPV's.

That's my take on it.

The "faces" usually fight at the end of the season, Elvis. I guess that's the point.

Hughes/GSP was awesome. Randy/Chuck hoot. Tito/ Shamrock classic. After TUF 1 ( saw u too :) @ ufc 57) I flew to Vegas just to see the rubber match. Got that damn Randy/Chuck faceoff t-shirt that I never wear with the fight card on the back, too.

I'm a hard core fan, have been for years. I love the TUF shows, I'm just a little dissapointed in the coaching staff, even though I'm huge fans of both.

Look I do see the point of what you're saying. But I'd rather have them on there then tying up any of the champs or contenders. I wouldn't have minded Anderson or Brock in there just because they're out of action anyway.

I don't want to see anyone on TUF that has already coached on there. It'll be hella boring.
