.........overlap with Conference Championship Sundays late game? I just realized this now, and considering it is going up against the Patriots vs Colts game it looks as though I will be skipping out on most of the fight card. I love me some Connor McGregor, but sorry, a 10 to 1 favorite is not going to pull me away from a great game like this one. Either Brady gets another crack, which is pretty significant to his legacy, or we officially usher in the new era of Andrew Luck at the championship level.
Of all of the Sundays of the year to schedule fights for, why on earth would they choose this one? It is such a rare occurance to have fights on a Sunday as it is, why not just choose Superbowl Sunday, say mid-afternoon?
Ya, I'm full of shit anyways, I am not going to miss the third fight between Cerrone and Henderson, but it pisses me off that I have to miss something else in order to watch it. Fucking UFC has not been scheduling themselves wisely during this season's NFL playoffs. I will be weak, but I hope others are strong and the ratings are low enough to cause them to rethink this strategy next year.
Do air times really matter that much now days? Everyone I know has a DVR. I always watch the fights live and record anything else I want to watch that airs at the same time. I really couldn't care less what timeslot they choose or what they are up against.

You might not care. But losing viewers matters to those that air the stuff.
More people would change to the live NFL game than watch the fights live and DVR the game.

I could be wrong, but I thought Nielson changed their ratings system to reflect DVR views as well.
BrattMamley - They won't overlap at all. Main card will be on at 10. Game starts at 630. It's actually perfect.
Hey, voted up for killing ths stupid thread.........and I couldn't be happier! I read somewhere that the fights began at 7pm and assumed that was eastern time, my bad. You just made my day.
I don't have PVR! I don't even have tv, therefore I am having to use alnernative methods to watch my sports and conflicting schedules can be a nightmare, just like they were in the old school!

7pm is when the prelims start on FS1 so you weren't wrong.

All good man I'll be in Boston watching from the 6th row so I made sure they weren't overlapping. I'm hoping they will play the game in the arena in the concourse somewhere so I can catch the prelims and the game. VU back at u.
