...where he should have the advantage? Or will we see another stand and wang with whoever lands first is going out?
As an admitted nuthugger, I'd love to see a final glimpse of the old Fedor and watch him clinch, trip/throw, and then g&p or submit his opponent.
When Fedor emplys a kickboxing game he can cause EVERY HW problems.
If he does that and then gets the td, it's an easy nights work. But Fedor's IQ seems to be in reverse these days...
If a throw or takedown isn't in his gameplan for Meathead, Fedor may as well not even show up.
Strikeforce Fjodor is standing like a brawler from 1930's
Hope he takes him down
.
I think Fedor will start with the stand up game since that's what Meat will be using also. Where it goes from there is anyone's guess. If it goes to the cage wall we could see trips/takedowns.
Fedors speed advantage helped him overwhelm the typical slow lumbering HW. But against someone like Mitrione who is not only big and powerful but also fast for his size, it could end up with a KO loss
I think Fedors gettin TKO'd :(
He's been working with Peter Teijsse in Holland for about a month now. I expect Fedor to use a lot of kick boxing.
Anyone know what Meat's conditioning is like these days?
He didn't attempt any in the Maldanada fight. :(
Flexo -I think Fedors gettin TKO'd :(
If the same Fedor shows up from his last fight, I think that's a strong possibility.

Who's that? School me on him, please.

As a world-class kick-boxer and instructor, Peter Tiejsse has been a force aiding the development of fighters of all calibre. He’s trained (and still trains) with iconic names such as Ernesto Hoost, Johan Vos, Jan Plas and Gerard Gordeau – these were some of the people who helped build his career as a game fighter.
He helped Fedor game plan for his last three fights before he retired, and also for his return against Jardeep (sp). You can see he's more calculating with his striking when he has a camp with Peter and uses his game plans.
like I said he's been training with Peter for this fight since early May.

Thanks man!

Yeah, because Meathead is the biggest hitter he's every faced. Derp
Let him bang bro
If he tries to pick Matt apart from the outside he is going to get jabbed and inside leg kicked into a living death. He needs to employ strategic explosive aggression with trips and throws IMO.......that would get Meathead out of there in a few minutes.
I liked it better when fedor threw people around and submitted them. I dont like when he relies too much on waiting for a big punch to land.
I want to see fedor get a win but I think mitriones reach might be a problem for him
