I really am torn. Eye looked amazing in her open workout, her stand up appears to be way ahead of Tates.
For anyone who didnt watch the weigh ins, Ariel mentioned that Elizabeth Phillips was actually cut from the UFC for the comments she made after her fight but flew out to Vegas to meet Dana and was able to convince him to rehire her.

I am not sure how Jessamyn will do in Invicata. In my opinion, if she wants to continue with MMA, she needs to take some time out and come up with a plan, maybe consider moving back to her home gym.

Sunkist1207 -I'm really not excited to see meisha vs Rhonda again if that's what happens. Meisha got better in their last fight and looked good lastnight after taking a few good punches but it just doesn't do it for me.

Do I want to see Rousey-Tate III? Not particularly.
Is it fair to everyone else in the division? Absolutely. Tate has done more to earn another shot at Rousey than anyone else in the division (4-0 with three top 10 wins) AND she has lasted longer against Ronda than any of her other victims. Davis has no claim with only one win since getting blown out by Ronda. Zingano has zero wins since getting effortlessly dismissed by Rousey. Everyone else in the top 10 has a recent loss to someone other than Rousey.
As far as a Cyborg vs Tate catchweight fight goes, that never made any sense. Cyborg needs to get down to 135 in order for the Rousey fight to take place. Having Cyborg knock off contenders at a catchweight is just bad business. If she wants a catchweight fight, let her do it in Invicta.
There really isn't anyone at 135 lbs for Rousey to fight so they may as well do Rousey vs Tate 5 (or whatever the number is at).
II'd like to see Holm vs Davis for a title shot. I know many are not sold on Holm but (Cyborg aside) Holm is the only interesting fight for Rousey IMO.
Are you still obsessing over Cyborg Karnak? No, Dana saying Rousey vs Cyborg would be the biggest fight in WMMA does not mean Rousey is going to fight Floyd Mayweather. No, Cyborg is not part of the Rousey vs Correia fight. No, the biggest fight in WMMA is not worthless in today's commercial TV/PPV market.

This is one of the reasons why I know the UFC are not invested in WMMA regardless of what is said by Dana in interviews because if they were, they would entertain the idea of a 125lb division. Miesha has mentioned several times that she would go down to 125 if the opportunity presents itself and with respect, as long as Rousey is the champion, no one else has a chance. Fighters like Rin Nakai, Jessica Andrade and Sarah Moras (not sure if she can make 125) are so far away from a title shot so why not give them an opportunity at 125. Now that Bellator are developing their 125 division , I wouldn't be surprised if several 125/135 fighters from Invicta move on to Bellator.
