Wolfslair sues Bisping for £270,000 in unpaid fees

From what I understand the wolfslair had some legitimate criminal types associated with it, you kind of got that vibe just seeing bisping and rampages cornermen at that time. I believe paul kelly is now in prison for involvement with heroin dealing in liverpool

Is the wolfslair closed now?

Not sure if it’s closed, last I heard McGann’s son was an upcoming fighter but I’m not sure how he’s doing now. The Liverpool gym I hear of the most now is Kaobon, I think Till trains there.

McGann was pals with 2 big Liverpool gangsters the Clarke brothers but I think that relationship went sour. They’re now doing long stretches in prison.

Kaoban had paul sass and terry etim iirc

McGann’s son not doing so well fighting in Russia.

Hope Mike wins, buncha scumbags.

Also pretty much any legal doc I sign now has numerous places you’re signing or initialing, so hopefully any sheets without a place for Michael to be signed will be tossed.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn’t the Wolfslair gym burn down not long after Bisping left? Given the shady connections of the gym owner, it makes me wonder if that fire was part of insurance scam to recoup some cash from a business that was doomed once it’s cash cow fled to America.

I’m inclined to believe this being truth. He was shady, this coming from a bisping hater.

Team Kaobon is carrying the Luta Livre torch

Funny how this comes up right when bisping is about to most likely get his biggest payday ever.

The trainers seemed to leave with rampage and go to that monster facility for awhile. I'm not sure where rampage trains now or who with but he's always had kind of strange trainers like when he was with de la hoyas old coach for a few years

I don’t know how long bisping was actually with the wolfslair, he was there when he fought in cage rage, but after tuf I thought he was training with tito primarily. I remember him being there around 09 with rampage and kongo, but not sure when he left

Rampage was at his best under Ibarra.

There was accusations of theft from Rampage (and Tito iirc) but they were later withdrawn

Didn’t they do Rampage over on a house?

Rampage mostly trains Call of Duty now.

The justice has been served.

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bispingwas ordered to pay former agent Anthony McGann more than $400,000 on Friday, but not before the two reportedly got into a “scuffle” before entering the court room.

Bisping and McGann have been locked in a court battle over McGann’s assertion that Bisping owed him past commissions for his services between 2005 and 2011, according to a report by the Manchester Evening News.

Despite chastising both parties for fabricating evidence and testimony, Judge Richard Salter QC eventually order Bisping to pay McGann £320,000 for his services. That currently equates to a little more than $425,000.

The judge stated that McGann had “put forward false documents and false evidence.”

hough he added that Bisping had been “more straightforward, like McGann, he was guilty of “tailoring and trimming his evidence to suit his case.”

The judge eventually ruled that Bisping had signed a management agreement with McGann in 2005, thus making him liable to pay for past services.

Neither Bisping nor McGann came out smelling like a rose in the judge’s estimation. Noting that, “Mr. Bisping was also a knowing participant with Mr. McGann in the scheme to defraud the Australian tax authorities by overstating Mr. Bisping’s expenses in 2010 and 2011,” the judge chastised them for an incident that took place while they waited to appear in court.

The judge had apparently been information by court security of “a scuffle between Mr. McGann and Mr. Bisping in the waiting area just outside the courtroom. I cautioned them that such behavior in the precincts of the court could not be tolerated.”

So he ordered Bisping to pay more than what was asked? Damn Bisping really shoulda just settled. This would a costly venture for him in the courts.

Not good for Bisping. I wonder if he still is planning to retire after his next fight.

Not anymore I bet
