Worse TUF Coach - Bisping or Shamrock?

I think Bisping is one bearded weight training coach away from being the worst, most useless coach in history.

Yeah beat the shit out of your fighter before his fight.  Good idea.

I'm waiting for Bisping to give dietary tips akin to Shamrock's "steak & chicken" before I decide. Will Bisping recommend a training diet of "bangers & mash" or other?

Shamrock by far.

How did you NOT make this a poll?

LMAO@ Bangers and Mash diet programs!!!

Ken was really bad....but Bisping looks to be making a true title run so far :-) (the only title he will get close to)

Gimme a break, Shamrock was terrible. Bisping's already WON a season of TUF.

Last night reminded me of Edgar/Penn 2, the way the corners were handled.

One corner was yelling actual advice and tips while Bisping just shouted "On your feet" or "Get up" and telling him to win as apposed to giving any advice how to do so.

The open your guard and get up comment was actually useful. Staying in closed guard without attacking off your back or controlling posture is going to get you beat up. Opening it will risk getting you passed but also give you the only chance to get up.

^ correct, but Bisping was just yelling at everyone to get up all the time.  The problem is timing - the dynamic and energy of the situation are fluid.  Its up to the fighter to judge when he should get up.  The one time the fighter tried to get up when Bisping yelled at him, he got punched square in the face.

Impress upon the fighter that he needs to get up ASAP, but dont keep yelling it like a broken record.  Have faith in your fighter that he can process the information and use his judgement to apply it when he feels its safe to do so.

How can you even ask?  Bisping is a good coach, he gives clear, useful advice and cares about his guys.  That one idiot who decided to go all andy wang then blame bisping was on his own, the rest of the team agreed with bisping.  He was just looking for someone to blame.  Bisping should throw him off the team like BJ did Wang.  This place would implode with hatred if he did that though, and he's too nice of a guy.

Shamrock.

Bisping has already won TUF by a landslide. Anyone that doesn't like his coaching style just isn't ready for the big leagues.

lol the guy said ten times that he was bad at following Bispings instructions.  But he added that he shouldnt have gotten the shit beaten out of him by his coach the day before and he was 100% right.

I don't think we've seen anything to merit calling Bisping a bad coach. He's obviously very passionate and seems to genuinely care about his guys. From what I've read and heard from some the guys that have been on his team, he's given them some useful stuff as well. Heck even Bass came on here recently and said that he learned a lot from Bisping over the course of the season.

Rampage was the worst coach. Bisping already won an entire season with both of his guys in the final. He's a good coach, but sometimes emotional and sometimes misses fights. Shamrock gave solid dietary advice through his s&C coach and gave guys much needed time off to heal and watch Ken Shamrock videos.

well, if its between those two, Shamrock was a total shit clown, but he did give us the living death!!!

good coaches dont skip out on the fight matchup sessions because they are too butthurt by their teams shitty performance.  Nice example there, Bisping.  What a clown.

Bisping and Henderson did not have access to equal talent in that season. Each squad had their own elimination matches to make the team, but the coaches couldn't pick. So if the producers didn't line up the same skill level for each coach, it can't be compared fairly.

Here, both coaches had access to the same fighters.

True. That was a cynical season. The UK side had serious fighters and were set up to win like the Danzig and Nelson seasons.

That is true i suppose, he did take a bit of responsibility for it.  I stand by the rest though, i think if he had been worked too hard the rest of the team would have agreed.  Was it even the day before the fight?  I thought they said something about 3 days rest later on in the show?  I think its a tough line up this year, Mayhem has gotten the better of it so far but all the guys in the house could do well so I'm sure things'll change.

Shamrock by a mile, didn't his speech go something like, I'm a brawler and a leg lock guy...LOL.
