At this point Iād say we are probably 5-6 more wins away from Aspinall vs Pereira happening. Both fighters will need to defend their titles 2-3 more times before there is enough hype in the casual fan base for Dana to want to make this fight.
IF Jones were to beat Stipe and Aspinall while Pereira was to defend his title 2 more times then at the point there would be insane hype for Jones vs Pereira.
Basically if Pereira can stay active over the next year and keep the belt then the winner of Jones vs Aspinall vs him would make for one of the most in demand champ vs champ fights in UFC history.
