he raised a ton of cash for a charity. he gave back to the sport. that's what this was about.
Both Ben and Jordan were beyond thrilled that a wrestling match got so much attention. You could tell by the looks on their faces that they were very proud and happy about that.

What were Robbie’s credentials when he manhandled Askren and dumped him on his head? Work ethic-wise I could see Usman outhustling Askren. Askren in his current soft body can’t fuck with Usman. Usman outwrestles Askren imho. Less optimistic about Colby, but Colby could make the hands add to his credentials in an MMA fight. Askren got K’d in his last fight and woke back up. Chandler went out for the same amount of time this past Saturday, and his fight was stopped against Friere.

What view were you watching that showed Ben go limp? Are you Herb Dean...? Was he wearing a ref cam? He was looking right into Ben's eyes and didn't feel the need to save him.

I heard on Ariel's show they had a 1.3 million gate for Burroughs/Askren. If I'm correct the gate for Cerrone vs. Iaquinta at UFC was only around 800-900k. That's incredible shit.

I get that Burroughs/Askren was for charity but it still doesn’t look good that the man that UFC is claiming is the elite in wrestling just got completely shut down by a guy that isn’t even in Mma! Now, everyone will be saying “Burroughs would be unbeatable in Mma with 6 months bjj training!” And that’s not what you want UFC fans saying lol…you want them to believe the truly baddest guys on the planet at the current time are actually in the UFC!

I’m not sure that this is the sport for you. Try something slower like softball or girls lacrosse.

Ben said that a bright side of the fight was that it was the first time he had to (and was able to) show heart and that he appreciated that he could show what he had.
