Negative. Both were there at the same time. MVA got injured really bad and stuck it out through Rashad's fight with Jones, but then departed. I think he was a head coach, but primarily a wrestling coach for them.
I was at that fight and stayed on the same floor as a lot of the fighters (by mistake we got upgraded didn't know they were there it was a great mistake:) but I got a pic with VanArsdale he was in an arm cast but looked ok otherwise is that the injury your speaking of? He looked tight with the team and their families
It's better to have 2 or 3 good coaches than 10 faggot coaches.

I agree, how many brand spankin new camps that get built overnight are successful ??? my guess is not very much. in order to suceed you must fail hopefully they stay together and reap the rewards down the road.
How long they supposed to stay together and lose? The inmates are now running the asylum, no coaching, no leadership other than veteran fighters. Look at every great camp, there's a great coach or coaches making it all come together. Only exception is BH/Team Nog but that's because the Nogs are great coaches, nobody in that camp comes from a coaching background

Well, this is only gonna add more fuel to the BZ hate trane......however, when the issue of coaching was brought up before, i pointed out that Sperry was there and there are few more experienced BJJers, fighters and coaches than Sperry. So im not sure if the problem was coaching though if he and MVA are gone now, it probably is. Rashad seems like a smart guy though, hard to see him in a gym with no leadership or structure. But perhaps there is a reason why Diego returned to Jackson's, not that I blame Rashad for leaving.
