Quitting Martial Arts

My acting career should be taking off aaaaaany day now.

Fathead D. Sadley, I am one lazy son of a bitch. Drug habits seem like a lot of work.

It will take time away from my acting career.

So Dougie when do you get inducted into the DFL HOF?? oh and as for a new hobby how bout yoga...TTT for dougie getting the oscar for best supporting actor next yr

I have a whole lot of doing nothing on the couch to look forward to now. I can't be using up my valuable acting time on things like drug habits.

Drugs enhance the experience not take away from it.  You need to watch the show Entourage.  They smoke weed all day and look at the tail they pull.

Gracie killar - I plan on being an actor, director, AND producer. A triple threat.

...if I ever get my ass off the couch.

I have a GF now. I don't need to do anything. Chicks don't dig guys who roll around with other guys on the floor.

chicks dig the long ball imo

I figure this will free up 10 to 15 mat hours a week for me to do absolutely nothing.

Of course I am not counting the valuable MMA.TV time I spend here because we all know that's just an investment that keeps growing.

Also, TV. I will be able to watch MMA on tv, PPV, and dvds. Thanx to UFC/Spike and Pride/FSN it's on cable. I'll have to get cable but that is no problem. Also the PPV box I guess.

All in all it's a good investment for me to get use out of my couch.

Also, my injuries will go way down. I suppose my doctor and local pharmacy will miss me but when I start to get obese they will see me again.

No more having to buy Gi's, fight shorts and rash guards, or training gear. I can spend that money on snacks and beer.

and dont forget all the $ you are saving on monthly mat fees, training gear, detergent for washing all your smelly workout clothes and the list just goes on...you have made a very wise investment decision my friend.

this may start a new craze...it would be called...the Dougie effect

Oh yeah, no more monthly mat fees. I can spend that on the PPV's and porn. Don't forget the porn.

My laundry bill will drop dramatically.

The "Dougie Effect" is in full effect.

Hey, if the Lion's Den wants to gire me and I can work from my couch I'm all about it.

I don't do try outs though. Unless someone wants to carry my couch from here to there.

you should take a trip, say to eastern europe. will it be fun? of course my horse.

Sounds good. I'll book myself in as the "King Of Schwing."

I also figure that since I won't actually be DOING anything I will be a much better judge of what everybody else is doing wrong.

Aloha ya tilly!

As Homer Spimpson said: "If at first you don't succeed...there is nothing wrong with quitting."

I am not sure. I sent this news announcement to Hendo's people but they have yet to get back to me.
