Amber Leibrock will be facing Marina Shafir in her pro debut on the Inicta 13 card in nine days. In the interview below, Amber thinks that everyone is underestimating her- what say you?
Shafir is also making her Invicta debut. She is known in many circles for being a teammate of UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. Shafir is coming off a 37-second knockout loss in her last professional fight. Despite Shafir’s recent defeat, Leibrock believes Shafir sees her as just a stepping stone to an eventual fight with Invicta featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino.
“Everyone is underestimating me,” Leibrock said. “But I asked to fight Marina and I’m hoping for a three-round war. I love to fight, and when I get in there, everyone will know what I can do.”
Although "Jacare" Leibrock considers herself a “very adaptable” fighter, she likes to keep fights standing and boasts about being a very strong striker. However, Leibrock added that she is just as comfortable going to the ground and believes she has a very strong ground game to match that of her opponent.

The Champ has her game face on while cutting weight and getting ready to defend her belt on the 9th
In my opinions, Reebok should have put Cris Cyborg instead. I doubt many people know Cris as 'Justino'
I hope Cris sees this and asks them to change it.

Just another mistake in a string of mistakes Reebok made. I agree with you, at least have "Cyborg" somewhere on there.

Just checked out Invicta's new website http://www.invictafc.com and Miriam Nakamato appears to be missing from the BW line up. Oversight? Like I mentioned in the first post, Miriam mentioned that she was gifted tickets to UFC 184 by Sean Shelby which sparked my interest. In my opinon Miriam puts the 135lb division on notice if she has signed to the UFC. It will be interesting to know if the UFC will allow her to continue defending her MT belts as that was one of the reasons why Miriam didnt sign with them intially.
If Miriam is indeed UFC bound, who would you lke her to face first?- Before you decide, some stats

Maybe the designs will grow on me but at the moment I cannot say that they are my favorite. In my opinon and I mentioned this in another thread, the announcement of the fight kits was rushed to replace another announcement. There is no way that two reputable companies would have signed off on everything that has gone wrong so far with the unveiling of the fight kits if this was meant to be unveiled right now
Looks like SW Champ Joanna Jedrzejcjyk couldnt avoid having surgery on her thumb. Joanna posted this picture on Instagram stating that she had the surgery in Los Angeles and hopes to be well to fight at the end of the year.. Get well soon Champ
Meet Invicta's latest athelete Daria Ibragimova. Daria 9-1 spent most of her MMA career at FW but will be joining Invicta's BW division. Daria's only loss in MMA was to Cindy Danois. Daria brings a dangerous grappling resume to Invicta, she is an International Master of Sports in Sumo and Master of Sports in Wrestling
